YVR 2037: Imagining the Future Airport

In 2015, the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) launched a process that would update its Master Plan to guide land use decision-making and facility development for the next 20 years. Driven by the insight that people are fascinated by what the future is going to be, Edelman partnered with a local futurist, Nikolas Badminton, to create a series of newsworthy ‘design fiction’ stories to envision, explain, and raise questions about what could be possible at YVR in 2037.
